|april beatty||thank you|
Mr Howard, thank you for your work. I am able to visit whenever I want and stay as long as I wish. I know this must be tiresome work but...thanks again. April Beatty. Daughter of Lois Mae White, Drew Cemetery, Winnabow, NC. Brunswick County
I found the headstone for John Thomas Delaney. Also in the same section were Elsie Pearl Delaney, Mary Alice Delaney, Evelyn S Delaney, Herbert M Delaney Jr, Mary K Delaney Simmons and Herbert M Delaney. I have added memorials and uploaded photos for all that I have listed.

Hi, I did hear from someone who was at the cemetery this weekend. It is stiil intact and within the woods "toward the back of the field." Hope to get more info soon. Sincerely, Jon

Dear Mr Howard, I did hear back from someone who has been at the cemetery recently. She has touched base with people who live and farm that area. They say no one would dare bother the cemetery. Few people know the exact spot. She is going to try to confirm all is well and that the cemetery is still intact. She thinks she can see the correct area in your photo. I will let you know as soon as I hear. Sincerely, Jon Horine
Thank you for the Edwards picture! I certainly do appreciate it.

I think you are correct that the DOD was 1815. I changed it to that and added the DOB also.

|Pamela B.||RE: Gottsman|
You're very welcome! It helped immensely that you had the section and row posted. I'm familiar with that cemetery and was able to park nearby and walk right to the grave.
I noticed a stone near this grave for Victor and Helen Gottsman. Are they relatives also? If so, let me know, I snapped a couple photos of that stone, too, just in case. It's not a very common name.
|Mrs. Bee||Mary Mills|
Mary Mills does not have a visible marker in that lot, in nearby lots, or in lots where other persons named Mills are buried at St. Paul's. She is, however, listed as having a marker in Wesley Pippenger's very fine work, Tombstone Inscriptions of Alexandria, Virginia, vol 5. Pippenger based his work on cemetery readings around 2004 and also scoured parish records and earlier cemetery readings. It's possible that the stone has fallen and is no longer visible, but Pippenger usually noted such problems. I posted a photo of lot 57, where markers are inscribed to Henderson and Sim family members.
Do you have the names of other relatives who might be buried near Mary Mills at St. Paul's? Is there a possibility that she is buried in another cemetery nearby?
Nearly all St. Paul's burials have memorials on Find A Grave. You can easily do surname searches there. Please leave me a message, and we'll figure this out!

I am a St. Paul's parishioner. If you need help with church records, let me know.
