Schmidt relatives
My husband's grandfather and g-grandfather were both Carl Frederick Schmidt. Grandfather Carl Frederick was born 1847 in Brandenburg Germany/Prussia. We have no information regarding g-grandfather Carl Frederick. So your John W. may be a brother/uncle / etc. If these ring a bell let me know as I am working on his family history but at a stand still now waiting for responses back from known relatives.

Stroebel transfer
Transfer complete. I also sent along her husband and son. I have yet to put the son's obituary on the site so I will send it to you when I get it.

RE: Thomas and Helen Lund
I found a partial transcription with my family on it and I entered the names. I don't know if I will ever make it up there. I hope to one day, my mom has such wonderful memories of her childhood.

No not related. My Grandparents and Great Grandparents are buried there. I've added other names in hopes others will find their family.

I like what you have done with Judson Ingram's memorial. I don't think I have any of those surnames that you mentioned.
Do you live in the U.P.?
