My father was the brother in law to Madelynne Peurifoy, hence, she was my Aunt. Doc Peurifoy was my uncle. Went I was in School in Washington, DC would occasionally visit them. Then when Madelynne was sick would visit her and E.J. in Hendersonville. In fact, the night of 9/11 I was at their home and we sat and watched it all.
Sandy now lives in Gold Hill. For the last 6 years I've been going to Concord to help my mother, but we've moved her to an Alzheimer unit north of Winston, so I'm not in Concord much for the time being.
