I was born & raised in Cleveland County, N.C. as they say, and my late wife was from Statesville, Iredell County, N.C. and had roots in Alexander County, N.C. I have been researching Hollands and Jenkins in Cleveland & Rutherford counties. |
Through her line I have been researching Echerds, Blankenships, Bowmans, Gwaltneys and related families. My photos and information has come about by the kind and generous donations of these families. For that reason everyone can share in the use of these photos as long as you do not share them with other online sites.Having inherited these photos, I only recently realized that I needed to share them with other researchers. I have access to two different cemetery surveys of Cleveland County - one is the 1939 WPA Survey and another between 1998 and 2003 by W.D. Floyd and others which also includes Rutherford County.

Arie Victoria McSwain was the mother of Horace Clifford "Bud" McSwain, who is buried in the Cleveland Memorial Cemetery, Find A Grave # 45714291.
Parents cannot be linked to chi9ldren, only children to parents. You need to sk the creator of the memorial for Bud to add the links.

Thank you for the information about Vertie. I have added it to the memorial.
|Betty Chambers||Earl Faires|
I have a listing of all burials at Steele Creek Presbyterean and the only Earl Faires listed was born in 1897 and died in 1952. I don't think he is your Earl. I would check at Pleasant Hill Presbyterean. I know there are some Faires there.

My pleasure...glad you could finally see the markers. Mary

Since you added a lot of pictures to this memorial, I thought you might like to know that I've added a picture of their marker. Regards, Mary

Links made. Thanks for the info.

Thank you for the information. I have edited the information as I do not include cause of death in situations such as this. Nor do I include pass funeral information.
Such a sad situation. I think it is one I remember, just didn't have the information to make the connection.

I HAVE LINKED ROY WITH HIS FATHER. THANKS FOR THE INFO.

Jim, Thanks, I have linked Barbara to her parents. I am not kin to Barbara, and would be happy to transfer Barbara to you. Let me know. We use to live in Etowah, North Carolina. A beautiful place, we still call Etowah and the Brevard area HOME.
Blessings to you and yours,
