Ashmore family
Saw a posting asking if Joshua Bloomer Ashmore Sr. is buried in Pope County Ark. Joshua Bloomer Ashmore stayed in Lawrence county Tennessee while his brothers moved to Texas. His son J.B. Ashmore came to Texas later and settled in Manor, TX. Just North of Austin, TX. I have been to their family reunions and have information on the family. I am related my second Great Grandfather was Robert Doke Ashmore, Sr., Joshua Bloomer Ashmore's brother. you can leave a message or email me if you want information.

RE: William Haywood Ashmore
Mr. Gray,
I was taken to that cemetery in order to photograph and to post to Findagrave each monument. I posted each of the existing markers. However, on-the-ground evidence indicated many graves marked only by sandstones and/or a shallow depression indicating a past burial. I live within a 20 mile radius and can make another trip to the cemetery, but I'm certain that I photographed and posted all the existing monuments. I wish that I could help more, but I'm not related to any of the individuals in this cemetery and have never researched any of the families.
