I have been interested in geneology, on and off, for over 20 years. I recently retired which has allowed me to get more involved over the past year. My father was very active in researching our families, so in addition to assisting him I also started researching my daughter's family on her fathers side as well as the families of my grandchildren on their father's side. I am enjoying the research and am grateful for all the memorials that I have found on my relatives and my grandkids relatives. I have signed up as a photo volunteer to take and upload pictures for others. Please feel free to use any of my photos in your research. |

Cathy, thank you. For your dad, what he has done for other family members is and was remarkable. I was in the Navy, too and for all military members, there death is always a bit more memorable than others. They served so all of us could have a better life. As for turning over memorials, I'm not sure that is a good idea. This is how we are related and as you will see, it goes way back. You probably know more about your family, both close and near that I do. I live in Florida, makes it a bit difficult to go to and see things. Most of my other family members, life in the midwest north and the rest in Idaho, Oregon, Washington and most of them work. Me no, retired with no money to travel, so I depend on others to find, photograph and put this information into findagrave. I've put a few, but not many. What you have done and hopefully will continue to do so, is amazing and wonderful and I do hope that you will continue.

Thanks Cathy for posting that picture of my Gr. Great Grandma Fannie M. I really do like that picture.
Just added Orpha Mendenhall DC, memorial 79282524 to findagrave. Her death date on findagrave is different than the death certificate. Lorraine

Thanks for transcribing tombstones. I just added a DC to Wm Carey Mendenhall at findagrave. The death date on his death certificate is different than is showing on findagrave. Thanks Lorraine in Idaho and a 3rd cousin 2 times removed to William

Thank you so much for the beautiful pictures and correcting the problem. If you or Joyce wants to add something, let me know and I will update their bio, and put your names in for the added information. Thanks again, Aileen
|A. Hinds C.||Roland Bruce Gray & Elizabeth|
When I was linking Rolland Bruce Gran Gray to his father, V. Gray, I discovered there was already one there. So when I clicked on the link, I found Yours. I have both Rolland and Elizabeth information in the cemetery where they are buried. They are buried in Fig Grove Cemetery. Cottage Grove Cemetery, Lane County, Oregon. Would you please put their pictures on the other site, I don't have any of the good copies, just dark ones included from some of Annie's books. If you want to add any information, or change anything, I will certainly put it on and make sure to include your name in the write up.
Roland's # is 129025268 and Eliz # is 129025233
Thank you, your second or maybe third cousin, Aileen , daughter of Bettie Gray Hinds.
Will copy it word for word, since my "old" computer won't do attachments! Yes, email@example.com. Happy to do it, you may have all the info, but who knows!?!?
