Glad you are solving all the mysteries! Have you checked the sexton records to see if they are listed on the official records of the cemetery? You may find even more!
Best regards
Phil

Fannie Ormand Jaquays
"Note : The obituary for Fannie has given her maiden name as Osborne and her father as Robert Osborne. I have no idea where that incorrect information originated. Her maiden name was Ormand, her father was Robert Ormand born 06 August 1839 in Newfoundland, Canada. Fannie was the eldest of three children born to Robert and his wife Mary. Her younger brothers were John and Andrew. The children Fannie had with Edward Leonard (Pearl & Cecil) gave their mother's maiden name as Ormand on their own marriage records. Could you make a note about her real name along with the incorrect obituary so others don't continue thinking Osborne was her maiden name? I did not want to edit her name without explaining why to you. Barbara Dahl ."
This is the correction you send me a couple of weeks ago, why now the change from ORMAND to Omand ?
Thank you Ingrid.

Thank you for the info, I added it to her memorial.
I am not related, I created the memorial with her gravestone as there are no burial records or complete DAR readings available for Springfield cemetery.
Thank you Ingrid.

Re: memorial #142729433
I have added her obit. If you have contrary source information I would be happy to review it and make changes. Obits are only as good as the person giving the information. So they are prone to errors as are death certificates for the same reason.
Thank you,

RE: Transfers
Sure. Just give me the numbers. I'll try and not have them fall under the desk this time!

Hi Barb,

Sorry for the long delay. I lost your email, forgot about it and lord and behold, when moving my large desk from one place to another, there it was on the floor! I never would have found it had I not moved the desk. This desk is six feet long by 4' 1/2 inches wide, and it was underneath it! I believe you have all the memorials I placed now for Harrison Cemetery and I am thrilled you have additional information you can add to some of them. Really happy you have cleaned it up -- It takes hard work, I have cleaned a few in the South in hot & humid weather. It's certainly worth it though. Have a blessed day and hope you found lots of good information for some of these poor old souls.
