You are always welcome to contact us personally as well.
You say you are from South Texas, do you mean the Rio Grand Valley? Rod and I were both raised in the Valley. and Rod's Mom Peggy Lou GILLILAND-Smith-Raab lived in Corpus until moving to San Angelo shortly before her death in 1999. Anyway I just wanted to connect to another Gilliland researcher and make you aware of us.

Awesome. Thanks Chad! I'll hit you up on email
It seems like I read somewhere that Leona remarries when John E died.
|Chris Davis||RE: John E Davis|
Yeah Chad, the most ironic thing is Clayton Charles married into the Parker family l, which I dunno if you're familiar with the history, but my grandmother was kin to Cynthia Ann Parker who was abducted by the Comanche Indians. She was the mother of Quahna Parker and also had a daughter named prarie flower. My dad was from west Texas (Abilene), but they moved back to my grandmothers hometown of Elkhart when my dad who was the baby of the kids grew up. My grandfather asked him if he wanted to take over the family ranch and my dad said no he wanted to follow his brothers to WWII. He enlisted in the Army Air Corps then my gelrandparents moved back east to Elkhart. I actually live in central Mississippi. I have lived in Houston and San Antonio. So where do you live and what is your relation to my great grandparents?
Awesome to hear from you.
Ps: I can't go any further than Aaron Cornelius.
I'm thinking about doing DNA and see if I get any matches.
