Medln Photos
I Would like to think you for the Medlin photos back in July. I am sorry I have been so lax at responding to the good deeds that folks have done. Your hard work is appreciated.

We were passing through Emmitsburg, bu just as we arrived at the churchyard the heavens opened up. Sorry we were not able to revist when the sun was more favorable for reading the inscription (we live two states away).

Thanks for searching for John. I will make a note that his grave site could not be found.
Thanks again,

Thanks! I go to Woodlawn quite often so I'll try to look for him. I am off work Thursday and plan to go to Holy Apostles first and then swing by Woodlawn on my way home.

Thanks for all the photos of the Markley stones. Too bad some are in such sad shape. There are some tricks to help make stones more legible. My favorite one is to rub ordinary flour on the stone. The words pop right out when all the grooves are filled with flour. It washes off with the next rain and will not damage the stone.
Bless you!

Your very welcome!

I will definately try to get back out there later this week to take those other pictures. Today was the first time I had been to that cemetery. It is beautiful and overlooks some gorgeous country. It will be my pleasure. I saw many Doxtators while I was looking for Tony and Carolyn.
