I am 31 years old, and a life-long Iowa resident. My grandfather passed away in 2007, and since then I have dedicated myself to one thing that always fascinated him: finding out where we came from. Since then, I've managed to find so many thing I wish I could of shared with him, and tracked the Cayler/Kalor line back to Germany. Now I am hunting for the Andersons, Mines, Baileys, Reeds and Linningers, and Balmers in Northwest Iowa. It's been slow going, but so worth it. :)
