Thank you so much for taking the photo of my ancestor, Mary Hootman. Her husband will be my second patriot for my DAR membership and my grandchildrens' CAR patriots. I really appreciate you taking the time from your visit to the cemetery today. Memorial Day is a precious day for all of us, this made it even more special for me and my mom. Thank you so much.

The plastic marker for John & Priscilla was something that my sister & I had engraved & brought with us in May when we came. Hopefully...my request for a military headstone will be approved for John Bryson. He was reported to have been in the Rev. War, but my first attempt was denied from the VA Admin - I need more proof, which I am working on. We saw the orange sticks and wondered who placed them... thank you for that! If there is anything that we can do, please let me know. In fact, if you could email me directly, I will tell you of our plans for this fall... firstname.lastname@example.org

We have been up to the cemetery twice, but only with a guide...it would have been too hard for us to find on our own. The last time we were there was the first weekend of May... I could not find any of the graves you mentioned. I was contacted by a man who asked for picture of the Revanaugh (sp?) family. Next time you are up there, could you please take a picture and post it on find a grave? I am actually related to the Bryson's who are buried there. John & Priscilla were my 5th great grandparents... Hannah would be their daughter, who married a first cousin, William Bryson. Thank you for all you do in helping to preserve this beautiful place!
