Bio and Links
Bio Photo Thanks for dropping by! As you can see, I am new to F-A-G, but am loving every bit of time I can spend helping or being helped by all the Great Folks here. I was bitten by the Gen Bug at age 12 when my Grandfather George Slack taught me how to read the quill pen script Journal that his Grandfather Samuel had left for his descendants. Since then, I have been able to travel to the Lake Charleston Area in Ontario Canada to study and record many of my ancestors history. I live with my Wife Denise (Whisenhunt) south of Lindsay, OK.

In regards to her Stone, I have been to the Athens Cem. 3 times looking for her Stone and for some reason I can't find it. I have the Transcriptions from the OGS that states there are 7 names on the Stone so it must be fairly large.
Would you by chance know of the type of stone or of it's general location?

RE: Slacks in Higgins
You're quite welcome. Went to visit there last week with a friend whose husband is buried there and just spent a short time doing some photos. I live in Amarillo, quite a "fer piece", but might as well do a bit of FInd-a-Grave work wherever you go.

relationships
Larry, your Mary Eleanor (Gonder) Slack is a sister to my grandfather, Ira Franklin Gonder.
That is why I was so surprised to see the flowers you left for my Rev John T Cox, which is an entirely different line.
Are you somehow related to this Cox line also?
Leona
