RE: Gerlach's
A plop is adding a memorial to a cemetery just because it looks like a likely place for the burial to be. ie, no proof, just a hunch.

RE: Gerlach's
My GGG grandfather was Stephen Garlock who is buried in Canajohnarie, NY. His father was George Peter, per Georges will, but who George's father is, I have no idea. Some say Peiter. Since Johann and Elias came to that area via the Palatinate, and are listed on the Stone Arabia patent, I think I can safely assume that they are my ancestors but I just can't make the link.
Were Johann and Elias brothers? cousins? father and son? I don't know.
BUT, going back to the cemetery and their graves, I am very suspicious. I don't think they are buried there because the cemetery was started in the 1850s and they both died 100 years earlier. I think its a plop, but the person who made the memorial is no longer active so I can't ask him or her.
Maybe we can share info.

Gerlach's
I see that you requested a photo of Johann and Elias. I honestly believe they are a plop and are not buried there, because I'm also related and have been looking for their graves for a very long time and nothing points to this cemetery. BUT if someone does agree to look for them, would you please contact me. Thanks
Lynne

Susan I am the great great granddaughter of Daniel Bender. On find a grave you listed Daniel being the son of Peter Bender and Barbara Elizabeth Ittig. I have been looking for Daniels parents since 2000. Can you tell me if the information you posted is correct? I have been trying to find anyone that may have access to files of the church at the cemetery with no avail... I have been to the area and cemetery 3 times since 2000. I would appreciate any information on Daniel or where I may look to continue my search. If this is indeed his parents then I can complete my search...

RE: Thank you
The Anguish cemetery is already on Find A grave. It is located on Tuscarora Road in Chittenango in the Town of Sullivan.
The cemetery used to be called "Old Anguish Cemetery". There is a listing of the people buried there on the Cemeteries of Madison County,ny website.

Susan
I think if you want to add something - a name or photo to find a grave you register as a contributor. Check out the "Help with find a grave" link under the actions. Hope this helps
