Bio Photo Hello,
I am looking for the ever elusive Jacks that migrated from Geo to Alabama around 1860. My gr grandmother was Eliza Jacks that married a John Jackson. I love doing genealogy and find a grave has helped me out alot. I currently live in Sulpher Springs, TX so if anyone is looking for folks in this area I will gladly photo and post...

T.S. Pearson stone
Thank you for finding that: I'd hoped it was there since his second wife was.
You mentioned other Pearsons, do you know offhand if there were more than listed at the FindAGrave site? (if you don't, that's fine).

I'm hoping in the next year or so to drive down from Wisconsin,

Amy

RE: Whittens
Are you from Sulphur Springs? Most of my Whittens are buried in the old Saltillo Cemetery and in the Spence Cemetery on I20. My 2nd great grandfather is buried there (William P Spence).
We have a few Whittens in Red River County that we can not connect (Talco, Bogota area).
We have an annual reunion at the Old Saltillo Church in August each year. Let me know and I will get them to put you on the list. I have gone to that since I was a kid.

Let me know?

RE: Whittens
I have a copy of the Whitten Book on loan and I can not find any connection to the other chapters. I think we all could be kin thru the Ducketts or the O'Dells.

Like she says in the book, we are all probably related.

Take care.
