|Over 20 years ago my Aunt started me on a journey that has now become a passion, genealogy.|
While 2 of my lines seem to end with arrival in the US in the late 1800's I have been able to research other lines further back. Thank goodness for the internet is all I will say!
Other than family history my grandson is my newest passion in life. He fills my thoughts with joy and I live for the moments when I can visit him. There is nothing in the world like being a grandma!
So much history exist in cemeteries that I thought I would put my time to good use when strolling through them. Find-A-Grave has been a wonderful avenue to research and help others as well.
Please feel free to use any of my photos or request originals. I'm happy to transfer anything except my family. I only have a few of my own so if you see a family member, just ask and I'll make the transfer.
Many thanks go out to all who volunteer endless hours of work for this venture!

Glad I could help with all three. It was above freezing. Bill
|CABrown||William Manning, Grant Cemetery, NY|
The only Manning I see listed on the map is a George. I checked that area and there are no stones for any Mannings. I took a photo of the area if you'd like me to add it.

You are very welcome
|Karen Tomecek||Charles Holden|
Thanks for the very clear pictures of Charles Holden gravestone. I really appreciate your time.
|Gilly||Charles Stifler at Woodlawn|
Hi, Elizabeth, I tried looking for Charles yesterday the problem is that there is not a Lot 512 in Section 25, it only goes up to 298, I will probably go back and look along the "back" of the section when I have more time you might want to try calling the cemetery again and getting another Lot #. This cemetery is not very well maintained and you literally have to take a shovel to try and unearth graves....I will give it one more try.

It's not Charlotte Jefferson. It's Carlotta Jefferson. She is my great grandmother and her first marriage was to George Edmund Fritz. When he died of typhoid, she married Herbert Hill, resulting in divorce. Then Thomas Jefferson.
Are you related to this group?

Many thanks for the transfer of the above sites & thanks so much for creating the sites in the first place. It has helped a great deal with my research on the Rogers/Moreen Family. Richard.
|CABrown||RE: Frederick Lanning|
You're welcome. I thought I'd make at least one more trip before the snows came. He was in the same row as the other Lannings.
