Sent via SAC (typed out); if you'd rather I post clipping as photo, let me know. I prefer putting things in the Bio myself. Note sent with the typing.

Schaefer Trees
Hi Dale,

Thank you so much for the Schaefer information. I haven't really begun to work on Scott's (my husband) tree as I've still got so far to go on my own. I'll email you with some additional info and links.

Kind Regards,

Hi Dale,
My husband's mother's maiden name is Schaefer. His maternal grandparents were George and Grace.

Hi Dale,
Thank you so much for the information. I just switched it to the correct cemetery. I really appreciate the update. Now we can go there and see if we can get a picture of his monument.

Bevier in Graceland
I also contacted the cemetery about your request for Dubois Bevier and got this response: "Dubois Bevier is buried in Section “R” Lot 803 Grave #7. This was a Rodi Lot with several burials before becoming a single grave area. There is one Rodi burial with a headstone. From the lot card it appears there is a headstone for Dubois Bevier. Helma S. Bevier is buried in the grave to the right of him. She does not have a headstone. There are three listings under Bevier which are Dubois, Hilma and Baby Elizabeth Ann Bevier cremated 6/12/1954. Usually when a name is listed ”Baby” is not on the record. Since Baby is the first name on the record it is entered under Baby and not Elizabeth." Regards, Bob Lerch

Edward Murray in Graceland
Ii contacted the cemetery staff to respond to your photo request. Their answer was "Edward Murray is buried in a family lot in Resub “P” Lot 13 Grave #2. It is a Carson Lot with four burials –all Carson except for Murray. The 3 Carson burials have headstones but not Murray according to the lot card. In fact, the back of the lot card does not even show his grave marked or show a burial location. There is a monument on the Carson Lot."
It is not marked, but he is buried there. Regards, Bob Lerch

William Robertson & wife Mary High
Dear Dale, I am 3-great grandaughter of Thomas Holmes Robertson, brother to John Alsobrook Robertson. Would you send me a list of children of William & Mary that are not listed on their Find A Grave memorials please? I would be so grateful for your kindness. If you would like information on the Robertson family line in Missouri, I would be happy to oblige. Thank you, Jenifer Jones

RE: William Robertson & Wife Mary
Dale, thanks for your rapid reply! While you were writing that note I found an 1850 census for my William in which he lived in Bedford County, TN, with three of his children. Mary is not listed. The children named in this Bedford County census match the ones listed by William's granddaughter when she applied to receive money from the government that was owed to descendants of Cherokee Indians. My William had a son named Eli who married the daughter of a "half-breed", as the papers said, and their daughter applied for the money.

So I think I have to rule out your W&M being my ggg grandparents.

I still think a relationship is likely between my branch of Robertsons and your W&M. There was a reason my branch of the family moved from Georgia in 1865 to that part of Indiana, but I've never found the reason. I know why they left Georgia (Civil War destroyed their county), but I didn't know why they moved to the area around Bigger IN. I figured it was family, but what family?

"Calvin" in your James Calvin is intriguing. Could explain my gg grandfather's middle name. I believe his first name was John, but he went by Calvin.

I will look at your tree!

William Robertson & Wife Mary
Hi Dale, I am writing to ask if you have documentation for the children of the William and Mary shown in these memorials:

William: 90087144
Mary: 90087168

My ggg grandparents are William and Mary Robertson. Mary's maiden name is unknown. The William and Mary in your memorials are buried less than 10 miles from where my gg grandfather Calvin Robertson lived in the early 1870s, in Bigger, IN. Calvin's brother Eli also lived nearby. About the time of your William and Mary's deaths, Eli and Calvin moved south to Tennessee--as if they waited until their parents died.

I am just not sure your W&M are my W&M. The facts line up well except that you list different children than I hoped to find, so I'm wondering what documents you used to determine who their children were.

If you'd like to see Calvin and Eli in my family tree on, lookup "Victor Robertson & Brenda Griffin family trees". I have a great photo of Calvin.

Thank you for any help you can give!
