Bio Photo My wife and I have done extensive family research for over 30 years. Both of our families came to America before the American Revolution and we have traced them back to their origins in Europe.

I hereby release all rights to Find A Grave photos taken by me to the person requesting the photo.

If I have created a memorial for a family member of yours, I will gladly transfer management to you, provided that the person is not part of my family.

RE: James Blakely
You're welcome!! I did the research for Revolutionary soldiers for our county for the state Genealogical society a while back. No relation to any of them. I am getting ready to add the info on William Davis that you sent to me in January to his memorial and will give you credit on this. If you are related to William Davis and would like to maintain his memorial I would be happy to transfer it to you. Sharon

RE: Samuel Might (1802)
I do have a bit of info on the Might family. She is a Sioux Indian. Her first name is Karenhappok and I have seen it spelled various ways. Her last name is either Stillwell or Stillwater. When John Might met her, she was a single mother of a toddler, Silas. All the info I have points to Karenhappok having been raped by a soldier. John Might adopted the toddler when he married her.
I got a lot of my info from the public record of John Might trying to get his pension. There are court records on it. John Might abandoned his troops and signed up under George Washington to fight and because he abandoned them, at first, they refused to give him his pension. Court records show that he got his pension three years before his death. I have their B and D dates, I can send them to you. I also have a copy of his court records.
I have not found any info on Karenhappok's parents.

Ron,

I have not been to this (Yankee Street) cemetery (Wilkesville, OH), but got info from WPA cemetery plot maps showing veteran graves. Often, vet markers of Civil War era merely showed unit affiliation without any dates. If I do make it there someday (2 1/2 hour drive) I'll take lots of pictures.

Relatives of yours? Let me know if you'd like a transfer.

Brad

RE: John Camp
Thank you for your time & efforts to take this photo! Mr. Camp shares common grandparents a few generations back and his grandfather, Chris Camp, served in the Civil War. The common grandparents and most of their children were Idaho Pioneers, homesteading in Idaho in the 1880s. There are many of these family members in Tahoma Cemetery.

Thanks again!

Regards,
Robin

Ron,

Thank you so much for your time & efforts to locate this gravesite and photgraph it!

I'm so sorry I got the plot location wrong. I must have gotten confused with some of the other Camps.

If you are unable to 'Fulfill' the request because you reported a problem to Find A Grave, let me know and I'll cancel that one and add another one so you can pick up and get credit cited on Find A Grave.

Regards,
Robin
