RE: McCord Ganes Roberts
Lenni, that's an amazing story about McCord delivering baby Harry Truman! Yes, I would love a copy of the newspaper photo featuring McCord's son Ed with President Truman (65 years later). Thanks!

Hi Lenni,

Yes, you and I are from the same Holman family line. Henry Bowles Holman's father Nathaniel Holman of Old VA is your key person to Sons of the American Revolution. He was a 1st Lt. serving under George Washington.

You can contact me at my new e-mail address

FINALLY Find a Grave has (mostly) cleaned out the inbox and I was able to submit a link to Miss Annie's parents, though they will only link back and forward one generation.

Blessings,

Bob

RE: Roxana & Infant Sister
OK, Lenni, I fixed Roxana's DOB, plus linked her and infant sister to parents. What a terrible period of tragedy that must have been for McCord & Martha! Especially as a physician, trained and experienced in medicine, but powerless to prevent those girls' losses. But the couple thankfully had fine sons thereafter. I'd like to collect details for you & Martin, kids, and grand-kids sometime. I have names, your DOB & POB, Tatiana's details, but little else. I'll email you...

Lenni, many thanks for this info! I created a memorial for each girl. You can find them here in Slagle Cemetery. Search for surname "Roberts." -- John
