|I am a member of the Coraopolis Historical Society. I love to do research for people who are searching for ancestors/friends. I also work on creating family trees for family members. I have in my possession the original copies of the Coraopolis Record Obituaries starting in 1906 and am keeping an ongoing record for the town. I am also working on a compilation of the necrology of the people in and around Coraopolis from the time it became a town until present. It will become public record in our town library and with the Historical society. Feel free to contact me with requests, and I will do my best.|

Hello, I was hoping that I could get that copy of Albert Glenn Waltonbaugh and his mother Pearl's Obit. You had messaged me a while back offering to send me a copy. If you could still do that I would greatly appreciate it. My husband and I will be traveling up to visit his grave site in a week or so and I would like to have a copy if possible. Thank you

Teresa if you could Gladys was my grand mother that passed away before my birth. I have been working on my family and I have found many clues in obituaries.

Hello Teresa, I am not certain if you want the long or short version. So for now I will give you the short and if you are interested in details. I will gladly provide them.
I was told at the age 32 that Uncle Al as I knew him was my biological father. As far as my siblings and I knew there was no blood relation to Uncle Al and Aunt Ann. We were just very close family friends. We grew up knowing him and his family, wife Ann, two daughters Connie and Glenda. I have not seen them since before he passed away when I was very little. I doubt that his girls even know I am a half sister of theirs. I would like very much for us to reconnect some day but for now I would just like to be able to hold something that is related to him. I fortunately have a picture of him and I together when I was about 4 years old and hold it dear to my heart. A picture of his grave side and an Obit would be nice to have. Especially to at least be able to leave my children. They know the story. I one day hope to travel to PA and intend on visiting Al's grave side while there. If you could provide me with info on how to locate the grave side that would be helpful for when I am able to make that trip. Thank you so much for your help. Your message is a wonderful Christmas present!
