Robert L. Rhodes, Sr
I am not able to link children to their parents. You have to link parents to their children which means you have to contact the memorial owners of the children and give them their parents memorial numbers. Thanks, Vonna

RE: Rhodes
The Rhodes that I'm researching are all from North Carolina at this time. I don't know where they came from before 1760, however. I know that Jeremiah Rhodes and his wife, Elizabeth Ferrell, were married in Wake County, NC on 5 Nov 1784 and settled there. Their son, William Rhodes, was born in Wake in 1785. The rest of my Rhodes family stayed in eastern Wake County until they intermarried with the Liles family which, in turn, intermarried with the Parish family. My Parish grandfather moved to Florida in the 1920s to work in an insurance company.

I think the Rhodes family members like almost all of the Parish family moved away from Raleigh and Wake County because they're all gone. Some of the Parish men took jobs with the Railroad and moved to Norfolk. The Rhodes may have done likewise so I may be related to your Virginia Rhodes - depending on the time period.

RE: William McNeil Branch
I'm related to William Branch through his wife, Lillian Pearl Woodward. Her mother, Emma Jane Parish Woodward, was my great great aunt.

Today, I posted the known children of William & Lillian on his memorial. If there are others, please let me know and I'll post their names. I know where William Woodward Branch and Emma "Virginia" Branch Everett are buried but I don't control their memorials so I can't link them. I've never requested the owners to do so. I don't know where Samuel Parish Branch is buried but it may be in New Bern, Craven Co., NC. I've tried to find him because he was named for my great great great grandfather, Samuel Matthew Parish.

William McNeil Branch
I made the link to William McNeil Branch's siblings through his mother, Virginia Ruth Vann Branch #59474925. I hope this is correct. Let me know if it's not and I'll change it. I didn't try to find his father. Do you know where he's buried? If so, I'll link William to his father.

This individual is only distantly related to me via marriage. I'll be glad to transfer William and his wife to you if you request it.
