Her maiden name was already showing on her memorial. I added the link to her parents. Thank you for the additional information.

What is your relationship regarding all of these requests? You are asking for an abnormally high amount of transfers!

I don't mind if there is a direct family connection, but I have had the experience in the past where others simply want transfers without an identified need. Obviously, Find A Grave takes a dim view of this and discourages it.

I generally don't ask, but considering the number of requests, I feel I need to know how you connect to your requests.

Thank you.

Thats what I think too. The next generation hopefully will link on. My children are finding it interesting. My brother and I have been having family reunions on my great-grandparents farm. Log cabin and all. My great-grandfather served in the Civil war, so we've had very interesting reunions.

Hello Arlene,

I'm so happy that I found him. He was exactly where you said he would be. I'm sorry the picture was rather poor. The stone was so old and worn. What an amazing story! I love to hear about the people that I photograph. Thanks for sharing that history with us. You take care!

Beth & Doug.

RE: James Amory
Hi: I did not see his wife Estelle listed on the directory. Only one near his stone was Frances, which I posted. You can check out the cemetery directory at the city of Belmond Iowa webiste. Under Chamber of Commerce tab down to cemetery. They have photos and information. Maybe I missed it. If so, let me know and I will head over this weekend. Thanks.
