Long time researcher of my families Hutson/Hudson, Cox, Simerly, Butler, Philips, Adair, Stanley, Russell, Cate, Harrill, Ferguson, Hall, Sturdivant Oliver, Tipton, Tidwell, Tilley and Thomas and others. Most of my family is from TN, GA and SC but migrated from PN VA and the Carolina's. The vast families migrated through most of the Southern US and many went to AL MS MO AR and TX like so many other families. I have always enjoyed history and am a consummate reader of history especially my 1500+ personal library on the civil war. Family and the relationships formed by them are my fuel for long term research. I also walk lots of cemeteries and and never try to miss an opportunity to spend time in libraries. My children groan when dad stops to visit them. I hope to uncover most of my family before my time on earth is up. Time is short, life is busy but I stay connected to my past while planning for the future. I love God, his creation and especially my family.
