I enjoy taking pictures of any gravestones.

Long story short, many photos that I have uploaded have been chalked, either by myself or by others that I have been working with.

I understand that this practice is very upsetting to some people so in the future, I will try to use mirror techniques to obtain this information instead of chalk.

If the pictures are offensive to anyone, I do apologize. Hopefully, knowing that your objections have been taken seriously will make people feel a slight bit better.

Thank you
A big thank you for all of your hard work cleaning the Ruggles family cemetery. I never would have even known that Ruth and John Barnes Selders had lost an infant son had it not been for your efforts. Thank you for all you do in making sure that our family history isn't lost.

James Gileland, 83077470
Hi, The surname on James marker photo, that you kindly posted, is hard to read and has been questioned. I blew part of his surname up, from your photo, and darkened and adjusted it to stand out, temporarily. Could I send it to you to post, so you get credit, since you took it? I credited you. You could take mine, repost it and I could remove mine if that is acceptable. It's your photo.

Reading stones
Another method is to use shaving cream, squeegee over to read, and then easily rinsed off with water.

RE: 21113445
The memorial for James ME Campbell is not mine, therefore I did not list him as a child.

===================
At some point, I may have given you incorrect information. James ME Campbell is correctly listed as a sibling of John Campbell. He should not also be listed as a child. Sorry for any inconvenience.
