|Doug ||RE: Edna Myers Boyce|
Hi Edward, I added the information you sent me except Alden Srs. location of death. Goshen and Middletown are two separate municipalities and I didnt know which to use.if you send me which place he died I will gladly add it. In the future if you have any information for any of the memorials its quicker for me if you use the edit to send information as I have many memorials I manage and time would be a factor as to me being able to add all info that comes my way. thanks.

Hi, I'm sorry but I don't have any information for an Edna Schmidt.
I am a Schmidt, but my family came through Pennsylvania.
Good luck on your search! -Carolyn

Thanks for the recent help and transfers. Judy, the cemetery manager, did not find my other missing relatives in her records, so I am back to the search.
Thanks again for all your volunteer work.

Edward, I am sure that this is same person and if you have a photo that would be great. It reminds me that I have not yet uploaded her portrait photo so I will do this as well. Thanks for your effort.
|anne||Orrin Pratt vs. Orrin David Pratt|
Hi Ed, Nice to hear from you. I am excited about your new information and would love to post it, but I have a complete lack of resources that would allow me to prove your information. I can hardly wait to hear where you got your information so that I can post it. I know that Orrin David Pratt was born in 1819 in Canton. Where did you find the information that our Orrin Pratt was born there, too, just 7 or so years earlier? I know that Orrin David was raised in Harmony NY but left there sometime after the 1850 census. It is interesting that our Orrin Pratt died there. Where did you find his death records? I never found them. I know that he hasn't been heard from in Iowa after the 1870 census. I figured that he may have followed one of his kids when they moved away. Wonder what the draw to Harmony was. Do you know? As soon as you direct me to the proof, I'd LOVE to post the details. Thanks for your input. I look forward to learning the truth! Did you find information on where he is buried?
All the best in your researches

Another good find however on May 4th it mentions in the Quaker Street review that his remains were removed from the Vault and buried in the Gallupville cemetery on May 1, 1893.
They frequently used the vault for storage in the winter while waiting for the ground to thaw so they could bury them in the spring.
I bet his wife Malinda is buried there as well.
Thanks for the information.
