A few years back, after several family deaths, I became the oldest member of my family at the age of 50. When I went through the mountains of photographs, I had several boxes of picture of people I didn't recognize. Pictures from the past of people who were part of what makes me who I am...my heritage. I decided that I would create a family scrapbook to include pictures and stories of my family so I could guarantee that, at least the people I know, won't end up in a shoe box in later years...names forgotten and missing from the family tree. This quest led me to ancestry research and I was addicted. I searched all records I could find, built a family tree and discovered some family secrets. It was very exciting. Then I discovered cemeteries. Now, I cannot drive past any cemetery without thinking,"I need to walk through there to see what questions it wants to answer.".
I live in Kentucky. My family tree includes HORD, KIMREY, DALRYMPLE, MCBRIDE, IRVINE, WHITE, KING, UNDERWOOD. My husbands family include STEVENSON, GRIFFIN, CARTER, CUNNINGHAM, GRIFFIN, KOON, JONES & MORRIS
I love being able to help others build their family story with headstone photos. I prefer searching the small country cemeteries, but not during the summer...I love cemeteries, but I dont like snakes!

I went and added her death certificate, I found her on a site I found several years ago Called Kentucky Vital Records Project it has mostly info in the 1800's with deaths list up to about 1925 you can obtain the death certificates, I am not sure how I found this site, since I bookmarked for a quick find
I believe someone else put me on it, I am not very good with a computer you might be able to search it out wish I could help you more. I ran her on ancestry but it did not have much on her. Patricia | | | Grace Younglove Hudson

RE: She was my great aunt. My grandmothers sister. Her name was Eva Loucettie White Young. She was born Nov 15, 1916 and died May 27, 2000. Thank you for putting the picture on the website.
