May I suggest moving all memorial from "Georgetown" cemetery to Saint Patricks cemetery for Monroe County Iowa? Gerorgetown is a duplicate.
Thanks

RE: Simitz (Simice) family
Mark,

Sorry it took a while to get back with you. I appreciate you contacting me. My wife's Maternal Great-grandmother was Katherine Simitz/Schimitz/Schemetz, wife of Frank M. Hosek. Her maiden name has been spelled so many different ways in records I've located, so I'm not sure how the family actually spelled it. She was the daughter of Franklin K. "Frank" and Mary Horak. I do know that Katherine's sister Josephine (aka Josse) never married and lived with the Hoseks most of her life and is buried near them in Hubbard, MN. My wife's grandfather, Frank John Hosek and his 2nd wife Harriet, lived in Jackson, MN and are buried there as well.

I'm hunting for records, descendants, photos, and anything else pertaining to this family. Do you know who Frank's parents were?

I didn't have a daughter of Frank and Mary Simitz as Mary, wife of Frank Rezac. All I had for children was our Katherine, Josephine, Annie, Michael F. (Frank Jr?) and Joseph. I have Michael F.'s wives as Frances Tellin and Anna M. Lots more research has to be done. Most of what I've put together so far is from Familysearch.org (LDS). You can contact me directly if you'd like.
