Re Elizabeth Book
Thanks so much for this photo Rosemary! This is most definitely a tombstone carving by John Solomon Teetzel. He signed with a "T" at the bottom of the inscription.

I've a virtual cemetery of his work in the US & Canada here:

John Solomon Teetzel (1762-abt 1836) of Hardwick (Hartwick)who carved in northwestern New Jersey from 1780 - 1800. He would emigrate to Canada, settling in Grimsby, Ontario about 1803.

An article on his work can be found here:

Biographical material can be found in the volume, New Jersey Cemeteries and Tombstones: History in the Landscape by Richard F. Veit, with Mark Nonestied.

Best wishes, Jane

Olive Bury
I am a great-grandson of the maternal grandmother of George Milton Bury. His only wife was Gladys Margaret Bury (Nee Binet), and her name appears on his gravestone. I am not aware of any relative called Olive Bury. If you have any further information regarding this relationship, I would be interested to hear from you.

RE: Andrew Lebarre Headstone
They are really lovely photos. Again thank you. Yes the LeBarre name has many variations, LeBarre, LeBarr, Labar, LaBarre, LaBarr and so on, all related pretty much.. Even some of the daughters and sons spelled it different then their parents.

Kind Regards
