Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am a single mother of three teenage boys that has been using Ancestry.com to find my ancestors so now I am on Find a Grave to place them where they are now.
Most of the people I add are family members, distant and local. I don't drive so it is hard for me to get the pictures I would like to get myself, so I love this site that people are willing to take the pics.

Iron Cross at grave in New Ellis Chapel Cemetery
Hi, I visited this cemetery 2 summers ago searching for an ancestor. His son Andrew J Nelson is buried there. There is an Iron Cross at a grave very near where Andrew Nelson is buried that leads to suspect that this grave may be the one of Samuel Nelson. Do you have any information that may help regarding this? The Iron Cross is one that would have been set by the United Daughters of the Confederacy. Samuel died sometime between 1900 and 1910. I will appreciate your response. elle25570@yahoo.com

RE: Lillian Grata Hammons Collette
I posted that picture. She's already listed in the Ellis Cemetery under Grata Faulkner Hammons. The picture of her stone is under that name.

We looked through the entire cemetery twice. Unless she is buried under a different name, Lillian Collette is not in that cemetery. I'll take the other picture down.

RE: Delbert McMillion
Thanks! I was missing a few names and dates. I heard my Grandmother talk about so many of these people and I'm trying to figure them out!!!

Thanks!!! This must be Delbert at Mountain Gate Cemetery, since Luther and Mary are buried there. The picture you posted is also the same one I have, so for now I don't have anything new.
Thanks again!!!

Stacy, on the memorial paper, it says she was stillborn in Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Virginia. Do you know if that is correct? Thanks, Linda
