|I am a retired librarian interested in history, genealogy and connecting families with their ancestors.|
I enjoy taking photographs of the graves and try to decipher any epitaphs that are deteriorating on the gravestones so that they can be preserved for posterity.
I see Find a Grave as a wonderful research tool that helps families connect with the past, local history to be preserved and even migration patterns being mapped throughout the country -- and it's just plain fun to go graving!!

|Jean Whelan Booton||Marques photos in St. Michael's|
I've been doing a bit more digging in St. Michael's in Pensacola. You took some great photos for Raymond L Marques 97598819. If you can find the bottom 2 pics (the vault and the lot)
would you post them to :
Charlie Vallette 97598878
Ella Vallette 97598891
Joseph Marques 97598904
Amelia Flournoy Marques 97598922
From Miss Bruington's book they are all buried in the vault.
Thanks so much for all you do!!
|Kristin Kelso||Bobby "Bob" Dobberthien|
I have been learning so much about the Dobberthien family thanks to you. I am Bobby Dobberthien's biological daughter, Kristin Kelso. I was lucky enough to meet Bobby shortly before his death in 2000. He was cremated and scattered in the Ocean near Dana Point in Southern Ca, so you won't find an actual grave stone for him. I will find some photos of him for his site. Again, I really appreciate all of the effort you have put into preserving the memory of all the Dobberthien family members. By the way, are we related?
|C.C.Diamond||ID Military in Westlawn-Hillcrest|
We are currently working to identify anyone buried in Westlawn-Hillcrest Cemetery Omaha NE that has served in the military. If you have a loved one entombed there or no of someone, please send us a message. We place flags on the graves for Memorial Day.
If you can send us the names, we will be sure to include them on our list to get a flag.
Thank you for the help with this ongoing project.
Carl and Carolyn Diamond
I see the problem, I was spelling the last name ending in a "s" vs "z". Think the new article I had located re her death used the s.

Thanks so much for the photos.
I am trying to enter all forgotten names and hope to get cemetery photo markers for memorials.
|Dan Scott||James P. Caro|
Can you link Mr. Caro to his mother Clara De Rocheblave Caro #110610892 who is buried in St. John's Catholic Cemetery.
Thanks, I think I got my dates out of the Bruington book, could be an error.

I corrected it. I think her maiden name would be Bazzell.
