I live in Maryland but my interest is to document my family from Walker County, Jasper, Alabama and surrounding areas for other family members and for research of our genealogy; Crump, Townley, Russell, Dutton, Posey, Blackstone, Jones (Carbon Hill), Boshell and more. Husband: Green, Black, Hudson, Jones (Union Chapel)|
I live in Montgomery County Maryland and if there is someone that you are looking for that is buried near me, please email me and I will do my best to find their grave and document their information for you.

I'm linking and transferring them now. I'm actually related to the Crumps. My great grandmother told me stories about her aunt, Missouri Posey Crump. A lot of both families are buried there at Sardis.

Thank you for that beautiful picture did you know my mother? I've never seen her high school portrait look so good. Thank you. Michael j. Hubbard.
|V Trimm-Estes Kimbrell||Gregory Cicero memorial|
I transferred Gregory's memorial to you.
Just for future reference, use the edit tab in the right corner of the memorial. It makes it a little easier to transfer.

you are more then welcome :)

I don't know if you're aware of it, but you can add GPS coordinates to memorials by using the "Plot" entry on edit. You have the choice of the cemetery plot designators as well as the GPS coordinates. If you enter GPS coordinates, they will show up on the memorial page - clicking on them brings up Google Maps satellite view with the designated coordinate point indicated so visitors can see where a grave is located in a cemetery.
Just remember that both leading as well as trailing spaces are not allowed in the entry fields, and to prefix a "-" (minus) sign immediately ahead of the latitude. It's very picky, and will complain of an error if the entry format it expects is not matched exactly.
The Lat and Lon in your picture for your father's headstone are a little off (cameras usually wander a bit on their GPS values). I've corrected them -- the actual values are 33.862342 (Lat) and -87.297931 (Lon)
(We had 7th grade homeroom together - if I remember correctly after all these years, the teacher's name was Mrs. Sinclair. Also, we've discussed a little bit about genealogy on FB a couple of years ago. I only discovered your last question to me about genealogy and DNA late last month, sorry)

I am happy to transfer Gary Townley to you....however I do not think I made a memorial for Ellis? if I am mistaken please let me know. Thanks :)

Thanks for posting the picture of Sonny with his dates to his memorial. That was very thoughtful of you.
|Deanna Jones||Prior Cantrell Jones|
I am looking for information related to Prior Cantrell Jones. I am looking for information about his parents Obadiah and Mary Jones. I have hit a brick wall and can't find any information on Obadiah or Marys parents.
I have conflicting information about Mary. I have found Obadiah was married in 1828 to Mary Smith and in 1832 he was married to Mary Griggs.
Do you have any information on the above. Any thing will help.

Can get photo need location. They won't give to non-family member. Also be presistant they are telling families that they are not buried there to avoid giving location.

|MJB||RE: Duttons in Walker County AL|
Keep searching and you will get better each time you search. Yes, please keep in touch since I am a Dutton descendant also. I did not look but bet we both will end up descending from Zachariah Dutton. Myra
