Linda Dukes
Lucinda Frances Cook Foster
Hello again, I have a question for you. I was trying to fill in some blanks in the family tree...for Lucinda Cook & James Foster
children I have :
Roberta
Ida E-Rank
Thomas
Edwin
Henry
I am missing 1 child, because in the 1910 census Lucinda says she is the mother of 6 children, with 6 living...I was hoping you could fill in the blanks with the missing child, and any help with spouses and death dates/places for any of her children except Ida(got that) I would appreciate it very much.
Thank you, lindadukes50@aol.com

RE: Foster/Botts
It's Linda, not diane...but, yes. Gray Cook and his first wife, Cynthia Lydia Blankenship. are my 3rd Paternal Great Grandparents.

I don't believe so. I have never seen any record with any other name but Gray. his father was Sion, and none of his sons were named Joseph.but who knows...why? do you have info?

RE: James A. Foster
If couples separated or divorced, "back in the day" the female would usually tell the census taker she was widowed to "save face". I put James A Foster in Botts, by process of deduction, "Fannie" is there, and children usually want the parents buried together even if there was a split. I have put in a photo request to see if there is a stone for James. I have checked Pettis County and do not see him posted in any other cemetery. sorry I can't be of more help. Linda
