Thanks for the wonderful job of getting the flags out early this year in Crane Community Cemetery. The Find a grave site does have most memorials denoted as veterans. I am sure you you must have asked for a c.d from our assn. If not let me know. We also can supply you with an update each year of new burials. Ernie Neill, one of our board members, may also have something for you in Old Town Crane cemetery
Wiley Ledbetter was a Veteran. He was my great-great-great grandfather.
Declaration for Pension, 421.551.
Certificate # 481223
Disability Discharge on March 1, 1865 at Ft. Smith, AR.
The disability papers state Wiley suffered a hernia in Fayetteville and contracted rheumatism due to exposure while on a march from Fayetteville to Springfield,MO.

Which Old Town Cemetery are you referring to? Which state is this cemetery located in? I have info on most of my entries, so I may be able to assist you with those, but without knowing which Old Town Cemetery it is, I am at a loss.
Thanks so much for volunteering your time to put out the flags for our Veterans!

I'm sorry I don't know any veterans at Old Town. Thank you so much for putting out the flags at the cemetery. I feel very strongly that our veterans need to be remembered & honored. I attend the Turlock Memorial Cemetery services since that is where my father is buried (he is a veteran).
