|Thomas ||Leander T. Burnham|
My family has transcripts, photocopies, and the original letters written by both Leander T. Burnham and Dyer to their parents, during the Civil War, from the Albany Barracks and from Camp Falmouth, Virginia. These are fairly long letters.
My grandmother Laura Burnham was the granddaughter of Edwin Lucius Burnham, the older brother to Leander and Dyer.
There is also a photograph from about 1866 showing Edwin Lucius with his own family.

I am writing a local history book about a group of Civil war soldiers that belonged to a G.A.R. post in Massachusetts. Your great grandfather was one of these vets. Although he was born in Trowbridge Vermont ,he ended up in the Malibu Soldiers home on the west coast.
If this is of interest I would be happy to send you what I have found about him. I am looking for stories ,photos etc. If this is of interest please contact me, Best Regards, Hugh

|Neff Cemetery Trustees||Neff Cemetery Huntingdon, PA|
Cemetery is located just south of Petersburg, PA on State Rt. 305. Find Huntingdon, PA which is in central Pa just off US Rt. 22. Go west on Rt. 22 several miles to Rt. 305 north which will take you through Alexandria, PA. Stay on Rt. 305 North out of Alexandria about 2 miles and over the railroad tracks, turn right, and cemetery will be about a 1/4 mile on your left just around a bend. You will see the brick memorial with NEFF on it. If you go to far, you will be in Peterburg. In that case, turn around heading back to Alexandria and the cem
will be on your right.

I joined Find A Grave to establish memorials for my grand-parents, parents, and my fiance' who died unexpectedly last month as a means to have closure over her death. In the last 11 months, I've lost 3 parents and the love of my life.
I'm sorry that I won't be able to fulfill your request for the photo you have asked for.

I "fulfilled" your photo request but as you should be able to tell from the photos of this very small cemetery, there are no gravestones here.
The only thing that is on this parcel of land is the rock that has the plaque on it.
