Hi! Reference your photo request at Waldheim Jewish Cemetery in Forest Park, Illinois.

I am one of the few people who actually photographs at this cemetery. There are over 150,000 burials there. There is no way that any photo volunteer is going to be able to find the graves unless you provide the plot location.

If you go to the following website and submit your request this will provide the grave plot.

http://www.waldheimcemetery.com/SiteContent/Locate-Family-Grave/

It usually takes a couple days to receive a reply (depending on how busy the office staff is).

If you then send me the names and burial plots I should be able to provide you photos within a week or two afterwards (depending upon my schedule and Chicago weather).

Just so you know, the Find A Grave Help files also state that it is the responsibility of the photo requestor to provide the burial plot location.

If you have any questions in regards to this information, please let me know.

RE: Photo Permission
Hi! All photos posted.

I hope you will forgive the reflection of my hand and hat in the photos. The way the sun was shining there was nothing I could do at the time.

When I go back again, I will try and retake the photos. Thanks for your understanding. Ace

RE: Photo Permission
Hi! I see that you have memorials for Rebecca & Herman Meltzer. Please add the photo requests for them and I will post the photos of their monument which I took today (I was there when I received your message).

Also there: Ira Meltzer, Oct 28, 1888 to May 13, 1940. I hope you will create a memorial for him and also post a photo request for him.

Please let me know if you have any questions in regards to this information.

RE: Photos of Smedley family
You're very welcome. I'm glad I can help. There is another large grouping of Smedleys in Oak Grove a few sections over. I think those are completely on Find a Grave but not completely photographed yet.
