RE: Martha Jane
Hello glad I could be of help, I was there and felt I should take the photo of the temporary marker. Sometimes I go to the office at city hall for help sometimes I just strike out on foot and he I get lucky.
I love doing it.

RE: JAMES MONROE SMITH
You're welcome. I am not aware, if there is a list of all the graves at this cemetery. I am doing it the hard way. I have gone through the entire cemetery and hopefully have taken a picture of all the tombstones and posting the pictures and if they aren't listed with Find A Grave I am entering them. It's sad there are a lot of gravesites where there is just a rock or one of the metal signs given by the funeral homes that are either deteriorated or missing letter or numbers. Happy hunting!!

James Monroe Smith
I found some information on James Monroe Smith #10553607. His mother is #114609018( Martha Jane "Mattie" Throneberry Blevins.) I added a reg. photo to his memorial. If you click on the photo, I wrote where I found the info. I put in an edit to link one of his sisters to his mom, but it might take a while to show up since the person that created his memorial page has been inactive. I didn't find a memorial for his dad, John Wesley Smith, probably Texas. Charlene had written in an Ancestry message board that Martha had married two different Blevins no relation. The first children's father was John Blevins. Martha and Lee Blevins were found on the 1920,1930 and 1940 Census for Graham, Carter, Oklahoma. They are buried in the same cemetery as James Monroe Smith. The obituary for his sister Almedie(Blevins) McMurtray #44379758 lists her survivors at that time. The best I can read is her mother, Mrs. Mattie Blevins of Healdton, two brothers; Thomas Blevins and James M. Smith of Healdton. Two sisters, Mrs. Mary Hope of Denton and Mrs. Grade Aldridge of Pueblo, Colo.,also, her own children and grandchildren. That info can be found at Waco Tribune-Herald Oct. 13, 1947 page 8. Hope this might help.

I don't know if there is a list with plot numbers. I'm not sure which funeral home might have them. I found a funeral home called Reser in Healdton. If you would like to check with them; 580-229-1221 is the number.

RE: BURIAL RECORDS
I have no idea about an index. I would write the municipal office and see if they could tell you.

Molly (Hodge) Smith
I got a transfer this morning for Molly. Somebody had created a memorial for her in the (Healdton) Oil Springs Cemetery. I just linked her to her husband and to her parents. She is #114843638. I was also transferred a son named Luther Smith. There are two infant sons that I requested to be linked. They were buried by her.

James Monroe Smith
The Smith line is Charlene's. Her mother is Opal Smith. I believe James Monroe Smith is her grandfather. My husband's mother is a Hodge. Her grandpa is a brother to Mary "Mollie" Whitley (Hodge) Smith. His name is William McAlester Hodge. The person that created the memorial for James Monroe Smith has been inactive and we're not supposed to create duplicate memorials. I will try to get Findagrave to link James and Mary to their parents. Mary's father is Elijah Franklin Hodge #113674564. Mary's mother is Eliza Adeline (Stanford) Hodge #113677028. James and Mary are in different cemeteries. There are two Oil Springs Cemeteries and people are finding out that this inactive person has the people buried in Oil Springs Healdton added to the Oil Springs Tatum one. James is in Mt. Olive, so he is ok. Charlene has done the Smith line. I haven't been in contact with her for over ten years. She has been a big help to me, so I know she can help you. I will e-mail you what I have.
