William W Ayles
I am not actually related to him. I am doing the tree for a close family friend. Bonnie Ayles was my mothers best friend. She was my assistant Girl Scout Leader in 1958 on. Her daughter Teresa Ayles is one of my oldest friends. I would love to add whatever info you have for them. If you need me to, I can have Teresa contact you directly. Thanks for all you do. Brenda

I'll add you as a friend. I have family buried there and I will again check and ponder their stones. Sometimes with a second and third look you see something else. I will also dig the earth away from the base of Patience to see William's better....thanks for the hunt!

Transfering the others to you so you can correct or add info. Wonder if John is buried next to her and share a head stone too.

I think I have them!!! On Patience Ayles stone is also, Sylvester W. Ayles name and also William J. Ayles.

In the print out that the Office gave me, the paper for Catherine, and Patience states REMOVED FROM BROAD STREET M.E. CEMETERY.

The stone for PATIENCE, has Sylvester and William J Ayles name on it. I wonder if they listed only Patience's name as record from the stone, back in 1888, when they were re- interred in Odd Fellows. I can't make out anything under Sylvester's name but you can see a break line between the names. William has a 1839 under his last name.

Now, Patience, Catherine and John are listed as E 1-E 2 and E 3. There is no stone 3 which would be for John. and John does not have a removal note from Broad Street Cemetery on the printout.

AngelTowes again!!
Ok I will seek them out. I know Patience and John were residents of Burlington NJ too. And I believe they came from Delaware. Elizabeth was a widow by I wonder if Sylvester went back to Delaware. So strange and who is in the no stone area? that the Children would be further down.

Hi Joan. I posted Rachel's, and I believe MARY Anna Reed ( the May/Kay Anna. I will also post the joint picture under Elizabeth's so you can see the space.

re: Ayles in Odd Fellows/Burlington NJ
I went back up to find Sylvester. Finding: Elizabeth B. Ayles and right next to hers is AMELIA O.S. LUFSY daughter of Charles and Alice Lufsey. I believe Sylvester may of had a sister Alice Ayles listed living in Burlington NJ at the same time as he was. Then there is a vacant spot ( maybe Sylvester Ayles), followed by the 2 children of Elizabeth and Sylvester. They being a May or Kay Anna REED (1856-1990) and Rachel (1863-1898).Right in back of them is a REED family.

No one was in the office when I was there. If he is buried there, I surmise that empty spot would be his with his family.
