Hi there, |
First, if I have added a photo to a memorial you are viewing be sure to click on the photo to see if I have added a caption to it. Second, a little about me. I started to dabble in my family tree around 2002. Really began working on it in 2006. Discovered FAG in May of 2012. I have no problem with anyone using my photos in their own trees, on Ancestry.com, etc. I'm not doing this for money, just love searching cemeteries and hope I'm helping others with their research. I would prefer, however, if you would give me credit for the photos you use. I have lived in South Kalamazoo County my entire life. I still work full time and then some, been a Village Trustee/President Pro Tem since 2002, Past Vice President and President of the Bonsai Society of Kalamazoo. If I can be of help to anyone just let me know.

I am a McClish family historian and just published a book on the George C. McClish family and his descendants. They are a "branch" of my family and since I was in Michigan, I took the liberty of going to the cemeteries and taking pictures of several of the tombstone. I am happy to share any info with ones who are interested in this history.. In return, I would like for you to share with me, especially if you see mistakes or errors in my info. thank you
|EEBJ||Relationship to Laura Woodin Ketchum|
I am not a descendant of the Woodins. Laura was the sister of Marilla/Elvira Woodin, who married my 2nd great grand uncle, David W. Hall, brother to my 2nd great grandfather Benjamin J. Hall. Since "Hall" is such a common surname, I take every opportunity to add siblings, marriages, etc, that may help me to put the correct families together. When I find families in a census, it doesn't feel right to me to exclude their children; hence, my tree includes many extended family members.
Find-a-grave has helped me to locate many of my relatives, so if I can help others by adding dates or relationships, I try to do so. I really enjoy connecting family members together.
Thanks for your find-a-grave contributions.

The Best to You and Yours, Butterfly~Kisses
I think it looks fine. If you enlarge it, it is readable and I don't think that is your fault at all. It appears to be that the years have taken its toll on the headstone. I am okay with the picture the way it is but do what you feel is best.

Thank you so much for fulfilling my photo request. I appreciate the time and effort you spent on my behalf.
What a great idea to use the flowers to mark the location!
Thanks again Scot for all the photographs you post from Riverside Cemetery! You are so appreciated.

Thank you so much for your time and the extra steps needed to find his final burial location. We'll have to take care of getting a stone in place for him. I'm not sure why his wife Alice is buried in a completely different location up in the front DD section of the cemetery.
Thanks again for everything!
