John Glassford
Elizabeth Merrill Titcomb at W. Newbury, Mass.
Memorial# 69152036

Thank you very much for providing/clarifying the information on this memorial. I am sending this memorial to a genealogist friend of mine on the West Coast now to see if she can fill in the remaining uncertainties.

Happy graving!,

Judy, I've transferred all my Peatfield entries over to you now. Have fun!

I transferred Joseph. It's been awhile since I've been on Find a Grave so I had to check out how to request how to transfer :).
All you have to do is go to the memorial, select "edit" tab and then select "suggest any other correction or addition". Then you can just type in your request to transfer. That way I have the memorial number and your member number all in one email. Have a good day.

I don't mind transferring any of the Peatfields that have been transcribed in this cemetery or other family members that you find. Just go to the memorial page and make the request from the page and I will transfer :)

RE: Wagon Wheel Cemetery?
This was the name my Uncle gave for where he was buried. I do not live on the east coast so can't check myself. I would assume this is the old ame for a cemetery there. The Vinalhaven Historical Society would know for sure...

Thanks. I took the dates from the Crockett genealogy (1989) and Heard genealogy (1987), both by Charles Candage, a descendant of both families, a long-time supporter of the Ash Point Cemetery and now buried there himself (I believe). However, the stone is pretty clear, so I'll change the record. Thanks again

RE: Wagon Wheel Cemetery?
This is the information I was given by a family member. I have never been to the cemetery myself. Many regards.

RE: Wagon Wheel Cemetery?
Hi Judy, this was the data that I came across while searching for his headstone, so that's what I entered. I have never heard of Wagon Wheel Cemetery before myself either, but this is what turned up in my search. I've learned to leave the "hint" there, for others to follow, even if it is not 100 per cent accurate. I do try to be as accurate as possible and will change things when I do have the accurate information to replace it. A perfect example are the headstones for James R Carver and Eliza Smith, his wife. The data I had was that Eliza was buried in Calderwoods Neck Cemetery and James R Carver was buried in John Carver Cemetery. Neither one is correct and I am just now fixing both of them, as a result of you amazing and wonderful photographs. Thanks again. You'll be seeing the update soon. Many regards, Ancestry Daig
