I enjoy spending time with my best friend, photography, and I am getting a love/hate relationship with Genealogy, that has brought me on the path to capturing these images for not only myself and my family, but for you and yours. With my best friends help, we hope to get as many as we can put here on this site in hopes of helping each of you on your journeys into your past. |
If I can do anything in the area, I will be more than happy to, and switching management to others is no problem at all, just message me.

Martha Ann Evans Brown..has been given the wrong parents. Look at the birth dates of posted siblings. Her parents should be, father 134781107 & mother 142398567. Robert

Can you please give me directions to the Vaughn Memorial Cemetery in Gilmore, LeFlore County. I live in Poteau, which is very near the Gilmore community but I can't find the cemetery. The above referenced memorial is that of my GG Grandfather (William Doyel) and I would love to visit the site. Thank you so much.

I, too, have a love/hate relationship with genealogy. I've started adding photos from our area cemeteries, for others. I'm hoping to find the favor returned where I go searching. Actually, I am looking for my Mom's grandfather and his name. Mom's grandmother was Mary Jane Haney b.1835. In 1880 Mary Jane Haney had 4 children. Hess b.1964, George b. 1870, Sis b.1874, Mahaley (my g.mother)b. 1877. I believe the "Hess" Haney buried in Monroe Cemetery could be our "Hess". He and Annie have a son "Garvin" on their headstone. Garvin was my Mom's maiden name. The Haneys and Garvins were very close families to each other. Can you put me in contact with any one who knew or is part of the family. I see many Haneys in Monroe Cemetery. I plan to visit the area next spring or early summer. These families are from just over the line in Arkansas in Sebastian County, Arkansas. I plan to look there also, if I can find any leads. Thanks for any help from anyone. Ruth

May I use the photos you posted to these memorials in my family tree?

Thank you so much for your kindness of the transfer. I was there at the cemetery last week and took pictures for my personal file. Also of her mother and father's stones just a few miles down the road at Springhill Cemetery.
If I can ever do something for you in western Oklahome, just let me know.

My grand mother and a few other relative were born there. If you by chance ever get any photo of the Old Kully Chaha please let me know. It has been years since I was there and I have forgotten which relatives were buried there.
I can't wait to see what all you have.
Thanks as always.
