I used FindAGrave extensively when I was searching for the graves of my ancestors. I then became a FindAGrave volunteer photographer and contributor to perform similar "Random Acts of Kindness". Each time I create a memorial I delight in thinking that it may someday provide comfort to a loved one or valuable information to a genealogist.
I believe visitors to this site want to see photo(s) of the person's final resting place and headstone. I make every effort to include at least one photo in each of my memorials and if you are adding ANYTHING to a memorial I created please let me know. If your photo does not add "value" to the memorial please don't upload it. The addition of nearly identical photos is akin to splashing paint on the headstone, in my opinion.
Although it would be wonderful to provide full obituaries and obituary photos for future generations to discover and cherish, FindAGrave rules clearly preclude doing so. Excerpts from FindAGrave rules:
"Please do not include the names of living or surviving relatives in the biography, unless you have their permission." …
"Please do NOT add photographs from obituary notices (unless you, personally took the photo), as they are protected by copyright law."
"Similarly, you may NOT scan an obituary and add it as a photograph to a memorial record."
I expect the reason for the ban is copyright and privacy issues. Please do not add any of the foregoing banned data to memorials that I have created.
Transfers - Due to overzealous "collector" member requests effective June 1 2013 I will only transfer memorials in accordance with FAG rules. (Transfer requests should be for direct relatives within four generations. This would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.) Please use the "Edit" tab on the memorial, send a "Suggest a Correction" including your "ID number".
Please remember volunteers spend countless hours photographing/creating memorials and appreciate knowing their efforts are appreciated. I know I do.
If you wish to have a memorial deleted I will do so, no questions asked.

I will remember to do individual request transfers the next time I ask for a group request...still just learning Find A Grave.
As for Jonathan (Jonty) Riley Bradley memorial, I was just going to make a note on yours. However, thanks! I will make a "Note" about his memorial in Mountain View Cemetery in his bio. I have had his information and more for years but thanks for Linda's information.
