Rockville Cemetery
The Simpson family (of which I am a member) has requested that no headstone photos be posted on this site. There is a notation to this effect on their pages. I noticed that in June you posted photos of the markers for Paul, John D. and Mary V. Simpson and am writing to ask if you would kindly remove them. Thank you very much.

requests
Thank you so very much for searching-out the Dorsett burials in Rockville Cemetery! Although you cannot locate stones, they were interred there as listed under D (2nd page) on cemetery index: http://usgwarchives.net/md/montgomery/tsimages/rockburials/rock.html
Because I don't want others to go out of their way searching as you did, I'll delete the requests. If you ever do happen onto their stones, please get in touch with me. Again, thank you so very much for your efforts!
Sincerely,
Jane Denny

Seidel
When I was at National Capitol Hebrew Cemetery I had to move quickly because they were closing as I arrived. In addition to Louis & Pauline Seidel, I saw a gravestone for a Morris Seidel. He seems to be Louis' brother judging by their fathers' Hebrew name, Baruch. If you'd like to set up a memorial for him I'll post the photo.

On a sad note, the gravestone right next to Morris', which is likely that of his wife, had fallen over onto its face, as have many others in the cemetery. Most of the cemetery is on a slope. I mentioned this to the groundskeeper and he said that it was due to the ground settling. The man to contact to get the gravestone put upright is Phil Berman
