I walked and took pictures of all the stones in the Blue Eye Cemetery and entered them into Find A Grave. Sorry I either couldn't read it or there wasn't a stone for him.

Emery Russel Deatherage
Hello! My grandfather was Virgil P. Deatherage, born in Lupus, Mo, 2 Nov 1891. He was the son of Matthew Henry Deatherage (memorial # 47961192) and Jeanetta (Gregory) Deatherage (memorial #47961722).

Matthew was the cousin of an Emery Dent Deatherage (memorial # 31429402); I suspect that Emery Russell may have been named after Emery Dent but, I can't seem to make the connection within the Moniteau County genealogy.

Can you tell me who Emery Russel Deatherage's parents were?

Thanx,
Dave Deatherage

RE: Elizabeth E Steele
That is ok. That Elizabeth was her daughter, sister of my Great Grandmother Caroline O Steele Allen. Caroline is buried in Waverly Cemetery too. There is already a photo of her tombstone on Find a Grave.

They may not be buried together because he died in 1858 and she died in 1893. Thank you!

RE: Elizabeth E Steele
I put too many greats in... Elizabeth E Steele born 1818 and died 1893 was my Great Great Grandmother. The Elizabeth Steele next to her was her daughter. Did you see her husband Chester Steele's Grave there? He was born in 1805 and died in 1858. I have the newpaper obituary for both of them. If you see his, I would like a photo of that one. I really appreciate it!!!

Thank you for taking the time to take a photo of Elizabeth Steele's Tombstone for me! She was my Great Great Great Grandmother who married Chester Steele. My cousin sent me some old photos and there were obituaries for Elizabeth and Chester Steele. The old photos were not marked so I am not sure if they are of Caroline O. Steele Allen or her mother Elizabeth Edwards Steele.
Thanks again!

I believe we did talk about Winfrey Cemetery. I do not know of anyone who has a platt. My sister took photos of all the tombstones there and posted them on find-a-grave.

Every once in a while someone cleans it up. We have been lucky and were able to take the photos one of those times.

Sorry we couldn't be more help.
