Crooker Family at Forest Home Cemetery
Hi! Almost no one fulfills photo requests at Forest Home Cemetery because the cemetery staff does not appreciate photographers and they will not supply them with burial plots.

But you can get the burial plot by calling the cemetery at 773-287-0772 or try e-mailing if you cannot talk to someone.

Since there are over 150,000 burials at the cemetery, finding someone's grave without a plot (Section and Lot Number) is nearly impossible. Ace

They are buried in block 39 lot's 3 and 4. No head stones. I put an edit on their memorials to add the locations.

Thank you,

Amanda Perkins
Hi :)
Good morning Helen,

I hope you do not mind me contacting you. I have found your email on the 'Find a grave website'. (what a grim site hey!)

My name is Amanda Perkins and I am a descendant of

Elizabeth Ann Beagley

mother - Ann Ovey

father - Daniel Beagley

Elizabeth had many siblings, including Charlotte Beagley who married James Neighbour

Charlotte and and James Neighbour's first born child was Eliza Neighbour who married Thomas Baker

Eliza and Thomas had one son (or so I believe only 1 son) - Thomas Frederick Baker born in Chelsea, London in 1880

Thomas moved to Canada - I am not sure when (if you have this information it would be fantastic)

I then believe he married Annabella Johnston. I have no idea if they had any children and if this is where you may fit into the family tree? I am also unable to find any further information relating to Annabella and her parents etc.

I have information that Thomas crossed from the Canadian boarder into America in 1946 with his son in law (which would suggest he and Anna bella had children) I assume that this is the correct Thomas baker.

Today I have found further information that Thomas remarried to a Edith (possibly Jean) Grantham.

It may be possible that you fit into this part.

I believe that Thomas is your Grandfather from the information on the site.

I would love for you to share any of the missing pieces I am trying to find.

Kind regards

If you are interested, like I mentioned, I am a descendant of Elizabeth Beagley. Elizabeth married George King ( my great, great, great Grandparents )

Elizabeth and George had 11 children, one of them being Edwin King

Edwin King Married Janie Irvine (from Scotland) (My great great grandparents)

They had 6 children. One of these children was George King. George married Elise May Vann in leicestershire. (my great Grandparents)

George and Elsie had 6 children. One of these being Jean King (My grandmother)

Jean King Married Alan Park and they had 2 children.

One of these was Susan, my mother who was born in 1953.

I was born in 1983 in Leicester, England.

I now live in Western Australia with my husband, Matthew and my 14 year old daughter, Amileigh.

We have been in WA for nearly 3 years.

Daniel and Ann Beagley parents to Elizabeth Ann Beagley and Charlotte Ann Beagley would have been my great great great great grandparents :) :)

Hope this all makes confusing sometimes.

Please feel free to ask any questions, I really would love to hear back from you :)

would also love to hear from anyone else who is connected to this family in any way

Thank you Helen

I added the plot numbers to the memorials and, I expect a photo volunteer will fill the request when the weather improves.

Good luck!

Helen, I created the memorial and added the "Garden" location as that gives a searcher a clue and small advantage. There may be as many as 8,000 graves in that particular Garden, so although knowing the Garden name helps it still requires a huge amount of time to find the actual grave.

If you can, please obtain the Grave # from the Cemetery office. They will not give this info to photo volunteers but they do give it to family members. Good luck!!

Thank you!

Hello Helen, I don't live in Calgary (it is about 2.5 hour drive to Mountain View from where I live) but when I'm next in that area I will try to find the grave. The various "Gardens" are huge, so, if you can get an exact location that would be very helpful. This cemetery will not provide that info to photo volunteers, only to relatives.

THX for everything you are doing.

Hi Helen - David is shown as interred in the same plot as Robert - however he isn't inscribed on the headstone & doesn't appear to have a marker Do you want a plot view?

Helen: Somehow your request for photos of these 2 graves is showing up on the Bear Lake Township Cemetery, Manistee County, Michigan page. Perhaps you will want to remove this request? Janice
