Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been working on my Family Tree for a few years now. It is such an interesting and rewarding hobby. Who could have known when I first began my research that the little branch of my father's line would grow to thousands of ancestors. Some of the surnames I am actively researching include: Wade, O'Brien, Condon, Leahy, McDonnell, Young, and Carter. Find A Grave has wonderful, caring people willing to help and go out of their way to find a loved one and take a photo.

What calls us to find the ancestors? It goes beyond a simple curiosity. We are taken over, compelled, as if possessed by something bigger than us that is begging to be revealed. There is one of us in most every family, called to be the scribe. I am but one of the many in the long line of storytellers of our clan. Like others I am called to gather and assemble the ancestorsóto breathe life back into them as far back as we can reach. We take what we find and chronicle the facts of their existence, remembering their names and who they were and what they did. They are the sum of who we are, for without them, we would not exist. We greet those who came before us, restoring their place in the familial line. We scribe their stories and their histories. We search for them in public libraries, county records, and weed-filled or well-kept cemeteries. We comb through yellowed newspapers, family archives, and lovely old letters and photo albums. We find them! And in finding themówe find ourselves.

John McMartin @ Holy Sep
Hi. I added the pic for John and also one for his wife Catherine. On the stone w/ them is Hannah Wade (1873-1918) I created a memorial w/ pic for her. On the back of their stone is Madeline McMartin (1911-1917) and Monica McMartin (1910-1923) I created memorials w/ for them as well.

Regarding photo request in Calvary cemetery located in Lakewood WA.
Office staff are quoting to photo request volunteers that they will be charging them to give locations of burials. As this cemetery was fully photo documented two years ago, chances are that your request cannot be fulfilled due to: A) Illegible temporary maker or a buried marker and B) No marker at all. If you wish your request to be honored, you will have to contact the office and inquire as to location.

RE: O'Brien
The O'Briens are all set. It's nice to keep families together; especially w/ a little one.

Thank you for your patience; weather's been a tad rainy.

RE: O'Brien

So glad I was able to fulfill your photo requests. It's a privilege to help honor those who've meant so much in our lives.

There were two more O'Briens next to Mr. Joseph:

Thomas A. O'Brien
1951 - 1960

Doris H. O'Brien
February 7, 1923 - March 2, 1982

If you make the memorials, I'd be honored to add those photos.

Also, I apologize for this delayed response; the Easter holiday was a bit busy.

Thanks & Later.

RE: Thanks
You are certainly welcome. So tired of being cooped up in the house. The weather is finally breaking around here and it was just time to get out and do some searching. Glad I could help.
