Hello,

I went to the Morgan County Library to look at the listings for all of the visible stones in a list that was created in the late 70s and her name wasn't there. Her husband was, but you have that stone already. All is not lost though, if you can call a Mr. Hartley who has the cemetery records at (765) 342-6749 and ask him if they have a record of her, he should be able to tell you if there is a stone. You might ask about your other request also. If he can give at least a general area of where they might be, I will gladly get your pictures. I can also do a quick search for other local records if needed.

Glad to help,

Ken

Also, I'm descended from the Washington Co., IN Barnetts. My 4th gr-grandmother was Rebecca Jane Barnett Fleener 1817-1892. I didn't get around to tracking her relatives down. Her memorial # is 52290675. I posted a photo of her. Does she look like your Barnetts?

Yes, it looks like you are correct. I was told by his brother's descendants that he was buried at Bear Creek. However, I never found a stone for him there. I've found or been informed of a lot of misinformation over the years. This is just one more case. Thanks for letting me know.
