The records of the cemetery show that Fred died on February 10, 1948 and was buried on the 13th. He is buried at 85 1 90. I has the comment that his stone is tipped. I don't have a photograph of it and I went up one row and down the next to photograph the entire cemetery, so the stone must not have been visible when I photographed the cemetery three years ago.

Thx....had to really work hard on the marker...added water to be able to read the stone :)

You are most welcome.
Some don't appreciate the effort to find the right stone, but then the effort to try to take a photo that can be used if it's an old stone. That one has to be blown up and the photo uploaded was one of 6 or 7 we took to try to get the light right; luckily we turned the flash off on 2 which turned out to be the only ones legible even when blown up.
A good cleaning of that particular style stone is all that is needed as it is discolored but not seriously eroded. A family member would have to do so, though.
I thought I would let you know I emailed the cemetery and asked for a map. but I most likely won't get to go to the cemetery untill next weekend.
Will let you know,

I will transfer her to you. I don't know when I will be on vacation again. The darn Cemetery office is open from 10-2. what odd hours is that? I work 7:30-4:30. I can't even have her have a map ready and pick up before 5. I am only 10 min away but can't make it there on her hours!
if you email me a list I can call and she will mail me the maps and I would be happy to go to the cemetery for you. oakwood is not marked clearly with the sections and is to big to wolk though with knowing an area. Do you have obits too? If you have excate death dates I can go to the libary on the way home at night.
Let me know.

I will add her and call the cemetery Monday to make sure she is his wife. But the headstones look alike, and the ages are also close, so it would make you think they were husband and wife. I also took a couple of pictures of the area. I can send them to you too if you would like.
Just let me know,

You're very welcome for the photos. Usually like to make a trip to Inglewood whenever I have enough requests. Glad I could help out and it does make it easier starting out with a location.
|Michael Kearney||RE: Claude Hart|
