I've loved cemeteries since I was a little girl & we visited the family graveyards on a vacation to Michigan & Kentucky. Standing eye level with the headstones left a lasting impression on me & a desire to carry on the tradition of visiting the cemetery & honoring loved ones.|
I enjoy reading headstones & imagining the lives represented by them.
All my memorials are for family & family by marriage. It just depends on who needs a memorial in the family group.
Many thanks to all of you who create memorials & take photos for Find A Grave!

|MaryK||Photo requests for St. Pats, Bay City|
I was unable to fill these requests because the office lady is very unhelpful about locating graves. She hates a list so I have found it easiest for the individual who is requesting the photo to find out the location. I have an index of existing tombstones that some nice ladies did for the Bay County GENWEB but that's for the old St. Pats where most burials are from the early 1900s. Sorry!
Julia is not found on the tombstone index.

I think I cam across you on ancestry.com too but my name is Kelly Donner and Drucella was my grandmother. She had 4 kids that she gave up for adoption and my father was her youngest son! I know she has since passed but I wish I could find out more about her or even see a real photo of her.

I was hunting in seeking Michigan death certificates and Julia is in there. Haven't plugged it in yet. I was getting lots of info and writing them down and have to plug into my program. Going to take me awhile, because I got about 10 pages to plug in. Thanks, for hooking her up.

I know what you mean on the family tree growing. Because of the two generations of Pomerville's are a little screwed up from French to English and the crazy census, I took on collecting all the Pomerville's, Pomaville's and other last name changes, over the years, to fix this area. My database is huge. Julia does hook up to Joseph and Eliza. I have Willett/Willette in the family and two generations messed up. Same deal! I am working on bringing them all together. Hoping to collect family pictures to add along the way. My dad's side I have many pictures going up the line, but this side is a little asleep at the wheel, so to speak. I have some, but not many. How do you get info from Calvary Cemetery?
|Little Blessings||RE: Pomervilles|
Opps, wrong Joseph. I should have connected you to Joseph 1845 (135194616) and Eliza Dubay 1849 (135195122). I am on the Pomerville side of the tree.
Sorry, was working on both Joseph's.

Frank Villaire born 1876, what is your source on place of death? I have him with 11 children, but several died young or at birth, so missing some info. Also missing 1900 census on his family. So, spelling must be off.
As far as Joseph and Delia, the dates are off. Partly grave wrong and census wrong. Came across this a few times. The Pomerville's are going from French to the English language. There is going to be a shift in last names with a few of his children. Hope this helps.

Hi Brenda, glad I can help with the links at Maplelawn. I checked what I have for Annie and Jesse and I don't have any information on them. I'll see what we can dig up at the library and I'll be on the lookout for them.

Brenda im sure that Ernest Clide Thompson is a son of Daisy & Ervin since he was to the left of them ok I added photos to his memorial.
Ok im not really from the area where the Newton Creek cemetery is but on the way home I saw a small cemetery that was on private land im sure but I think it was close to the Joppa Landing road it looks like maybe less than 50 people are buried there maybe in the near future I can go back and as permission to go and look at who is in the cemetery it does look like it is kept up good.
