|Ron Lairamore||Anna Berry Goodwin|
Henry & Mary Wilburn Berry's 14th child was Ada A, Berry. Possibly Ada Anna Berry. She was born December 1879. She is in the 1880 census, but you are aware of the problems of the 1890 census. I never found anything on a marriage of Ada or Anna to a Goodwin, but that branch of Berrys wasn't a direct branch of mine.
Thanks for the information.

She's removed the erroneous memorial.

Wd you like me to transfer her memorial to you?
Since I haven't heard back from you, I went ahead and created Catherine's memorial at the Smith Mountain Cemetery and submitted a photo request. Let me know if you'd like me to transfer the memorial to you. I also notified the creator of Catherine's earlier memorial that Catherine was not buried in the cemetery that she indicated. Hopefully, she'll acknowledge the new information I uncovered in Tulare County records and make the necessary changes.
|Gary Biggs||Found Minerva|
I found Minerva buried as Catherine Lindsey in the Smith Mountain Cemetery in Dinuba, CA. It's a small community to the far north of Tulare County approximately 30 miles from Tulare.
Her date of birth was 1 January 1870 in Prairie, Franklin, AR and her date of death was 30 January 1937 in Dinuba, Tulare, CA. Her burial site is 3, 11A, 12.
No one has created a memorial for her. You now have enough information to do that yourself. Once you've created it, place a photo request for the Smith Mountain Cemetery and someone in the Dinuba area will take the photo for you.
I'm closing out the request for the Tulare Cem. Let me know when you have it done, including the photo. I'd like to see this elusive woman.

I see that the memorial for Minerva was created by someone calling themselves 'Stevie'. I recommend you contact this person and ask what information he or she has that places Minerva at the Tulare Cemetery. However, I noticed that the person hasn't had a message in two years, so Stevie may now be inactive.
You may also consider contacting the person whose tree you found Minerva referenced and ask what they know with any certainity about Minerva's burial location.
I'm wondering if Minerva may have been buried under a different last name. I'll go back to the cemetery tomorrow and ask them to do a computer search for every Minerva and Catherine buried in the cemetery. I'll let you know whether I locate any with b&d dates matching the ones you've provided.
No worries about the extra effort. I enjoy these kind of a problems. I find walking out to a marker and snapping a photo kind of boring anyway. If she's here, I'll find her.
|Gary Biggs||Minerva Lindsey|
There is no record for Minerva or Catherine Lindsey at the Tulare District Cemetery. I checked the burial records for three of the cemeteries nearest to Tulare(Visalia, Woodville, and Pixley); however, there isn't a record for her at any of them either. Next, I went on line and checked the Tulare County Obituary Index through ca.gen, but cd not locate an obituary for her. Our local paper is on microfiche through 1882. On the off chance she was buried under her maiden name, I ran a similiar search for a Minerva or Catherine Wilburn at the same cemeteries and obituary index. No luck there either.
Are you certain she died in Tulare or Tulare County? Cd she had been buried under a different name? I'll await your reply before closing out the photo request.
