Hello Mark. I am part of the historic research team at Green-Wood Cemetery in Brooklyn, N.Y. Everything we use is from the grave records of Green-Wood. If you would like to reach out to the head historian, his name is, Jeffrey I. Richman at grnwdtours@aol.com. Maybe he could help you with your reserch into your family history. I will tell you that the records are very old and for the most part just have name, place born, place died, and grave marker (if recorded). We do the background searches into their Civil War service.
