 | RE: Eddie Ruth (Kirk) Blystone Hello, Rebecca, Yes, I have some information about Eddie Ruth (Kirk) Blystone's parents. Her mother was Louisa Virginia "Boudie" (Lane) Kirk # 22824604, the younger sister of my great, great grandmother, Julia Elizabeth (Lane) Frazer. Eddie's father was Joseph Edward Kirk #22824596. I'm sorry to say we do not have any photos of Eddie's parents. I do have several newspaper clippings and the Texas Death Certificates for both of her parents that I have attached to their pages on my family tree on ancestry.com. I'm thinking you have done some exploring on Ancestry because the photos you have posted for Eddie and her husband on their find-a-grave memorial pages are ones that I originally uploaded on Ancestry. The photo of Eddie came from the estate of my grandmother Pleasant (Garrett) Stockdick. In the original photograph Eddie is standing next to her first cousin/my great grandaunt/Eddie's mother's namesake, Boudie McDowell Frazer. I have done quite a bit of posting and linking the Kirk family on find-a-grave because an older brother of Eddie's father married a younger sister of my great great grandfather Robert Beresford Frazer. The older brother was named Seaborn Franklin Kirk who married Martha Tevis (Frazer) Kirk. The families became acquainted while they were living in Lyons, Fayette County, Texas, in the 1860's and eventually intermarried during the 1880's. If you are interested, I am happy to extend an invitation to view my family tree as a guest on Ancestry.com. Just let me know. I hope this information helps.
